Last December when my sweet from Emily + her husband Aaron were visiting from San Fran they stayed at this old seminary turned hotel in Chelsea.  I was instantly intrigued, and upon exploring the space with Em + taking our Christmas card pics there for our fashion blog I knew without a doubt that The Highline Hotel was a space I wanted to create in.  Fast forward a month and I began thinking of ways to mix my two passions:  fashion + wedding photography.  What better way to do both than incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year:  Radiant Orchid?

For the fashion forward bride who wants to incorporate pieces of Radiant Orchid my suggestion:  stay with classic silhouettes and add pops of color in your details.  From jewelry to nail polish to bouquets, to lavender mimosas there are a 1,000 different ways to incorporate orchid into your wedding.  If you’re feeling a bit adventurous go bold like our bride + bridesmaids did!
